Brita Schmitt

Technician

I am a lab technician with many years of expertise in biotechnology and biomedical research. My background includes molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and cell-based experimental systems, with a particular interest in supporting the development of novel therapeutic approaches.

My work involves the planning and execution of experiments, including cell culture and transfection, DNA and RNA isolation, PCR-based techniques, cloning, Western blotting, and ELISA. I also contribute to maintaining a safe and well-organized laboratory environment.

What motivates me most is being part of a collaborative research team that translates scientific discoveries into improved patient care. In the Linkermann Lab, I support researchers and students through my technical expertise, reliability, and commitment to high-quality research.
