Welcome to the DISCOVER (Digital Based Advanced Perioperative Care) research group and its clinical implementation: IPOZ (Interdisciplinary Perioperative Center).

Here, professionals come together to explore the interplay between preparation, execution, and follow-up of surgical procedures. Our focus is on the complex medical challenges that arise in the perioperative context.

Our group brings together experts from various medical disciplines, including anesthesiology, surgery, and nursing science, as well as computer science and data specialists. Together, we strive to combine innovative approaches and best practices to optimize patient outcomes and improve the quality of perioperative care.
