Dear colleagues,
we cordially invite you and your team members to the 2nd PONS symposium at the Institute of Pathology. This year's symposium will focus on the key topics Precision Medicine, Digitization, Biobanking and Regenerative Medicine.
National and international experts will present latest scientific developments, and discuss how these are transforming research and clinical practice. The symposium will provide a platform for exchanging ideas, fostering collaborations, and exploring new perspectives in Precision Medicine and Translational Pathology.
During the moderated poster sessions, experienced researchers, young investigators and doctoral candidates are warmly invited to present their work, come into scientific discussions, and connect with international researchers.
Abstracts submission is open until October 20th 2026.
As a special highlight, we are proud to present the first Uwe Bleyl Research Award, established in honour of the first Chair of Pathology at the Medical Faculty Mannheim, Prof. Dr. Uwe Bleyl (1936-2016). The award recognizes innovative scientific achievements during the poster sessions.
We are looking forward to welcome you and your colleagues for inspiring scientific discussions, interdisciplinary exchange, and the establishment of new collaborations combined with social and cultural events.
